Pilgrim Lutheran School PTO is sponsoring their First Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser. At the end of each school year when our fundraising comes to a close, Pilgrim teachers and parents identify, vote on and purchase items needed by the school which enhance students’ education. Some of the items purchased in the past have been Smart Boards for each classroom, student task tables/chairs, laser printer, playground equipment, outdoor shade structure, marquee board, laminating machine, preschool carpeting, overhead projectors and athletics scoreboard, just to name a few. We are also in the process of accumulating monies to go towards a capital improvement project! These NON-BUDGETED purchases have helped to shape an enriched learning environment for our students and teachers.
So, nothing says “l support our WELS school education” like……..GOLF!
ENTRY DEADLINE IS FRIDAY, OCTOBER 1ST. Please contact Kay Berguin for registration at 480-236-6982 or kberguin@cox.net Individuals or foursomes. Guests welcome. Dress code applies, including no denim.
$65 ENTRY FEE GIVES YOU A FUN-FILLED DAY AS FOLLOWS AT BEAUTIFUL ALTA MESA PRIVATE GOLF CLUB, 1460 N. ALTA MESA DRIVE, 85205:
11:45 – 12:45 – Prayer and “Pilgrim Student Nine-hole Walk-a-thon”
12:00 – 12:50 – Golfer check-in, driving range warm-up, mulligan and raffle purchases
1:00 – Four man scramble, shotgun start. Longest drive, longest putt and closest to the pin are part of the fun!
5:15 – 6:30 – Complimentary hors d’oeuvres/soft beverages and cash bar, socializing, last chance for raffle, raffle winners drawn and tournament awards. See you there!
